BOOK REVIEW...Empty Net (Assassins #3) by Toni Aleo
The third in the "Assasins" series, Toni Aleo did not let me down and continued her miraculous legacy of foretelling the lives of the "Assassins" hockey team.
The story is fresh, thank god, and the characters are fun and easy to relate to. I tend to have a hard time keeping an interest in a series since at one point or another one of the books kills it for me but so far all three books that have been released have not disappointed me yet. :)
........................
ANYWAYS TO THE GIST OF WHAT "EMPTY NET" IS ABOUT:
"Empty Net" focuses on the lives of Audrey Parker and Tate Odder. It is perhaps the most emotionally invested I spent in a book in its series and for a couple of reasons in which I highly suggest you pick up and read this book for yourself.
I loved the chemistry and sense of camaraderie formed along Tate and Audrey and how their pasts help bring them together to heal, grow, and move forth with their lives AND ALTOGETHER allow themselves to be open to love...
I'm now curious as to the direction Ms. Aleo is going to take her "Assassins" series and I CANNOT WAIT!!
My Rating:
-Overall : 9
-Plot : 9
-Writing : 9
-Characters : 9
-Cover : 9
