MY REVIEW:
Quintessentially Q was a definite bread winner in my book!!
With Tears of Tess , I was kind of on the fence about the plot line as a whole. BUT... in this most anticipated sequel, I was singing another tune. I am highly amazed with how enraptured I was throughout the story and how it had me tied up in knots of anguish and enthrallment.
I mean, before you come into this series, you already know that it is going to be dark, disturbing, erotic, and twisted all in one. Quintessentially Q does not disappoint this cycle!!
Quintessentially Q puts a lot of focus on character growth and re-evaluation of who they are and their place within each others’ lives. Q is constantly coming to face his demons on a daily basis and we see Tess finally hit a breaking point.
It was so heartbreaking and heart wrenching to see Tess broken down the way she is and always trying to show Q the man she truly saw that he was. At one point of the point, I was in near tears because of the depiction of the all time low that Tess hits while struggling with her own hurt.
Gosh, this book is an enigma for my sanity as it really through me through the ringer!! I swear, a couple of times I was literally convulsing in heaps of strokes due to a couple of events that take place!! Was making me hyperventilate with worry and shock!
Pepper Winters, you are an author to be reckoned with!! How you develop and craft such a poignant and well put together story line and characters with depth is beyond me. Awesome job!!
