ARC BOOK REVIEW...Long Simmering Spring (Star Harbor #3) by Elisabeth Barrett

Cole Grayson finally returns to Star Harbor, and now that he’s the town’s new sheriff, he’s upholding the law instead of breaking it. He and Julie Kensington, the local physician, have known each other since grade school, and she’s less-than-impressed with the bad boy he used to be. But after stints in the military and on Boston’s police force, the question isn’t whether he’s changed, it’s how much. It isn’t long before Cole realizes that his sweet, sexy doctor will force him to confront his past and help him to face the future.
Expected publication: May 13th 2013

A very short and steamy read that had me swooning.

Basically, bad boy war veteran turned town sheriff meets all around good girl and their love story unfolds.

Their relationship isn't without it's problems as Cole suffers from PTSD from his military service and some of his old antics threaten to tear the couple apart. How will this couple survive this??

......
Over all...

The story and characters are good as well as the pacing is very fluid.

I highly recommend this book to fans of the Star Harbor series. You will not be disappointed. I swear I literally could not put this read down and read it in one sitting. I was that hooked on it and I'm sure you will too!

My Rating:

-Overall : 8.5
-Plot : 8
-Writing : 8.5
-Characters : 9
-Cover : 8.5
