Lanie and Hop are only suppose to have one night together but Hop decides he's never had a lady and the beauty that is Lanie, and he's not letting go.
I didn't know what to expect with Hop,he didn't leave me with the best 1st impression when I met him in Motorcycle Man. Boy, Hop redeems himself in a BIG way.
Lanie has major problems that stem from a dysfunctional family and having witnessed her fiance Elliott shot and killed eight years earlier when he got involved with the mob.
This book is a emotional roller coaster of a ride as Hop try's to slay the monster the Lanie carries inside herself and she has quite a few. Lanie is scared to give love,she had a fiance that was taken away from her in a horrific way and a father that was never committed to her family growing up.
Hop goes the distance with Lanie and the end result is KA signature epilogue.
