While I loved this book to pieces, I guess what bugged me was the repeated facts and thoughts sprouting from Tru. She annoyed me with her insecurity and inability to let things go and live in the present.

Jake, on the other hand, is your typical bad boy rockstar with demons. Sounds a bit cliche right?

Jake and Tru were once childhood best friends who got separated when his family moved from the UK to the US. Communication dwindles and the two don't hear and see each other until 12 years later.

By then, like mentioned before, Jake is a famous rock star and Tru is a journalist working for a small magazine. Only now, Tru's next big gig is interviewing none other than...Jake!! Buahahaha.

Neither party has forgotten each other and the spark is still there. But, to throw a wrench into things, Tru is in a serious relationship with long time boyfriend, Will.

Are they truly meant to be? Can these two fly high in the mighty storm that's about they're about to face?
