Title: Jagged Love
Author: Nicole Simone
Publication Date: December 8th 2014 by Nicole Simone
Plot: "I stared at our entwined fingers. His, calloused and stained with color. Mine, nails bitten to the quick and scarred. We had lived two parallel existences yet somehow fate brought us together."
To the outside world I’m a normal twenty three year old woman - brown hair with caramel colored highlights, gray blue eyes and French manicured tips. What they don’t see are the map of scars etched into my skin or the barb wired wrapped around my heart. As the saying goes, it only takes one person to change your life. That person for me was Andrew.
From the moment we locked eyes I was hooked. He was intriguing, a word that doesn’t get used lightly. Men were a dime a dozen, but Andrew was special. I could tell in the way he spoke, passionately and without reservation. As our fates collide, he begins show me the light amongst the darkness. However, when a secret from Andrew’s past emerges, the fragile foundation of trust we built becomes threatened.
Our story is a jagged piece of glass, beautifully imperfect.
Will it survive the fall or will blood be drawn?

☆✮ My Review ✮☆
☆ I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you! ☆
Oh, me feels! I really LOVED the depth and versatile diversity of Jagged Love!!
For me, it emoted themes of unconditional love, trust, the destruction of drug abuse, family, and sensation of longing to have a home to call your own.
Haven McClain has had a hard life with a lot of misplaced trust in individuals that have constantly ruined or let her down.
She meets enigmatic art painter-- Andrew Foster, of whom has a past of his own, and the two are instantly drawn to one another with renewed hopes and dreams they seek within the other.
But what happens when old skeletons and insecurities rear their ugly head and try to make a play on your future?
Will you stay back and let it identify you and ultimately succumb you?...
Or will you rise up against your fears and obscurities and take life by the horns?...And by your own conditions?
Will love truly triumph? Or will it, fail? Read and you will find out!
#A heartfelt and relatable book that had me cheering, guessing, and also shocked by the turn of events that author Nicole Simone packs in this beautifully written read!! I loved everything from the story, the pacing, and even the main and secondary characters!! Andrew and Haven't BFF's were the best!! Matthew, Andrew's bestie was the ultimate husband and family man. While, Monica, Haven's bestie-- had really great talks and advice for Haven when she (Haven) was at her lowest! Such a TRUE friend!
I love, loved this novel, Nicole!! Glad you left the ending a happy one, but also a sort of open one as well! It left more to the imagination of sunshine and butterflies. :)
-I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this read to my friends!! It was definitely worth my (and even your) while!!
Hearts and kisses,

“I had an impenetrable barbed wire fence wrapped around my heart….My untrusting nature was a second skin. Andrew wasn’t going to change that.”

“Playing the victim won’t propel you forward in life, it will keep you stuck in the past.”

“Like your mom, you are seeking a home, somewhere to belong….The thing is though--- a home isn’t a place, it’s where your friends and family are….Wherever you are ready to return, we will be waiting with open arms.”
