eARC BOOK REVIEW#- Perfect Ten by Michelle Craig

Title:  Perfect Ten
Author:  Michelle Craig
Publication Date: TBA

Plot:   Joseph Starling Jr. was in the right place at the right time. It didn’t take him long to discover his particular talent. He knew how to make a woman feel good. If she wasn’t screaming out his name, purring like a kitten or clawing at him like a lioness, he had failed. Mediocre was not a word in his vocabulary. Her enjoyment was so important to him that his own pleasure was a secondary concern.

Faith Graham was nothing like the women he was required to date as an escort—it was what he liked about her from the first time he saw her. She was imperfect and insecure. Her hair was a bit on the wild side, and her clothes were slightly rumpled. But her curves! They were alluring. She had curves where most of the elite clientele he mingled with had straight lines, and not an ounce of softness to be found. Shocking him to his core, she didn’t want anything to do with him.

Joe had always thought that working as an escort for Perfect Ten was a dream come true, but he was beginning to wonder if there was more to life than raking in the cash and having his pick of women on any given night. Could he start over with a new direction in life, or was he already at the age of twenty-six too jaded? Was there more out there for Joe Starling or was he destined to be a boy toy at the whim of any woman rich enough to afford him?

✓ Perfect Ten was an alright read for me. While I loved the premise of a hotshot, ladies man escort meets shy, insecure female heroine, this story just didn't completely mesh due to a few inconsistencies that weighed it down from time to time.

I can't point out exactly what it is if it's the pacing or over all plot line, but while I was reading, the instant attraction that Joe felt for Faith didn't add up for me and Faith's doubts about herself (albeit justifiable) kind of drove me insane after a while.

So over all?:
Not perfect, but Joe sure was downright lovely and adorable in his pursuit to win over the vulnerable, broken down spirit: Faith.

*And ladies!! Get this: he loves the taste of p*#y! O_o *wink wink**

While Faith, on the other hand, did drive me nuts A LOT, BUT...let's be honest, I could totally relate with her as a woman on coming to grip with her own body image. It’s a struggle that basically every female goes through at some point or another. But in the end, it doesn’t matter whether you’re fat, skinny, chunky, or curvy. It’s the inside that that counts and what you think of yourself that should make you feel beautiful and worthy. Too bad Faith had to grow up in that demented, asinine family but you know what? Good riddens to them!! It’s their loss that they can’t see or appreciate an angel and well…. there’s always loyal Joe: her knight in shining armor, waiting to catch her when she falls!! I wish I had a man like that!! I'm jellin' with envy! lol

About me. Let's see. I work full time as a bookkeeper in a law firm located in Old City, Philadelphia. I've been there for almost ten years now. I am a country girl at heart and am more than ready to get home to my country living in South Jersey at the end of the day, but it's nice to get a taste of the city too.

I have a B.S.B.A. in Human Resource Management. If I have any valuable advice to give, it's go to college directly after high school! I didn't finish with my degree until I was thirty-eight.

I am married for almost twenty years with no children. We prefer the furry kind, although I love, love, love my niece and nephew.

I write under two names. I use my real name, Nikki Worrell, for my hockey romance series ( and Michelle Craig for my erotic romances. I picked the name Michelle Craig because my middle name is Michelle and my husband's name is Craig.
