For those of you who have read bk 1, you should already be up to date on what’s going on. In Filthy 2,Faye’s character is just as flawed, lost, and rough around the edges. But there is a vulnerability there too and we learn the story behind it. FINALLY!
Faye’s past packs quite a bit of an emotional punch and a sense of reality of a scared young girl that had to grow up before her time. It was just majorly f*#cked up to be frank.
As much as I wanted to strangle her at times, I also wanted to protect and guard her from all the bad, including the word vomit and harsh treatment that he received from Rhett. Ugh,
I wish she would tell him the truth! But, then again, why should she, right? Rhett has been nothing but a judgmental and serious a$#whole to her since she walked in the door!! Not to mention, she'd been taking care of herself all this time so she can take care of her demons on her own without him...right?
And last but not least, the ending!! Omigah!! What's going to happen next?! Aaaahhh!!!
So, my thoughts:
A PHENOMENAL addition to such a wonderful serial!! Definitely kept me on my toes!!
Filthy 2 was even more addicting and stake rising and introduces a new character in the lineup that spells trouble with a capital T!! I literally wanted to murder him!
Gah, I already want bk3 already and am crossing my fingers for even MORE Rhett and Faye interaction!! Particularly when, he's not being such a douche to her!! I want romance blooming and extra amounts of lust scorching my e-reader! *wink wink*

Anyway, great job Ms. Martin and I look forward to reading more!
