Well hell...That was quite unexpected and quite the game changer!! My panties sure are tingling!

“My mind was in turmoil—a sort of beautiful chaos—floating, dreaming, transcending earthly reality, but my physical body was giving away. I wanted to control myself, but I just wasn't sure if I could hold out any longer. I felt as if I was falling...”

Falling Star takes place right after its predecessor, Shooting Star, where Jake learns about Star's startling revelation.

From there, he begins to pull away from Star (much to her chagrin), in attempt to protect her from himself, but ends up backfiring and perhaps making the biggest mistake of his entire life.

Now, another suitor has come to capture Star's heart and right away Jake's greatest fear may have come true: he may have lost Star forever...

What will become of Jake and Star? Will their stunted romance ever bloom? And with this new thorn in Jake's side coming about, will Jake overcome his insecurities and win the girl of his dreams?

After all, you know what they say: “Distance makes the heart grow fonder” and Jake is sure in for the fight of his life. Not to mention, Star has some hard decisions to make.

#A spellbinding, addictive read that I could not put down due to all of the sexual tension and uncertainty between Jake and Star; as well as Star's new possible love interest, and all of the unpredictable twists that Arianne Richmonde interweaves!! It nearly made my mind want to combust with all of the suspense!!

I will definitely be holding out for Shining Star, the third and last of this book trilogy to see where the cards will lie for Jake, Star, and this admirer of Star's (*sorry! I'm not divulging who this home-wrecking third party's name is*). Until then, great job Arianne!! I can't wait to see what happens next!!

You know, Reckless Games made me initially think of this before I began reading! Haha

But when I read it, it was filled with mystery, intrigue, romance and thrill that I couldn't help but gage on to the next hurdle!!

So what is it about?:

Lucy Flannigan

is in her final year of music school when she finds out that her father had committed suicide...Or at least was it?..

Now wanting answers, Lucy goes on a quest to find out what really happened to her father and her only hope to finding any is none other than rich business mogul, Rhys Carlyle.

So Rhys…

Rhys Carlyle has it all: immense wealth, power, connections, and an endless bounty of women. He is a highly ambitious fella and has no plans of stopping.

When a chance encounter weaves Lucy Flannigan into his life, he just may have met his latest muse as she encompasses two things he holds priority in his life: beauty and domination.

Relentless to possess her, Rhys invites Lucy into his world in assistance to uncovering the truth, only, she has to play by his games and abide by his rules.

#Get ready for a story packed with steam, suspense, fear, seduction, twists guys! Reckless Games was an innovative read that just needed to work on the super awkward ending, but, other than that it was very impressive.

I will definitely be keeping a watch on this series and am quite intrigued with how everything will turn out between Jake and Star. Their dynamic relationship was so spot-on and mirrored one another that you can’t help but feel that they are made for one another.

And that ending! I mean, it wasn’t and yet is sort of was a cliffy, but over all, it made me crave even more from this beautifully-dysfunctional duo! Looking forward to Falling Star, Arianne!!

#Holy hell, I need MORE from series already!!

Filthy was one of those dirty reads where I felt almost guilty just for reading it! Buahahaha.

Author Megan D. Martin, puts a naughty twist on serials as we meet Faye Turner, a “nineteen-year-old homeless prostitute addicted to cocaine.”

All of this changes of course, when Rhett Hale, her sex on sin stepbrother, steps back into her world and puts a spin on things.

From endless one night stands and bending over for strange truck drivers, Rhett's obvious disdain toward Faye’s lifestyle of choice makes her question everything extending to the long time crush she’s had on him for years. But there is a catch, Rhett has a girlfriend and as much as he tries to remain indifferent to her, Faye knows that he’s clearly infatuated with her.

What will become of these two? And with Faye tempting Rhett in every irrevocable way and turn to give into forbidden pleasures, will their romance ever take fold? Or is it simply doomed from the very beginning? Read and you will find out!!

My thoughts: #A surprise read that definitely left me wanting more from this serial minus Sarah’s annoying presence in it!! She made me want to hit something! Lol. Great job Megan and I look forward to more in regards to Faye and Rhett’s backgrounds and how Faye came to be a prostitute and why she’s so distant with her family. We are given some clues and I can kind of piece together what happened to her but I’m still unsure…

So over all, a lovely start of a new dark, controversial romance filled with tension, secrets, and a dip into something wild…something filthy…
