Title:
Romancing Mister Bridgerton (Bridgertons #4)

Author: Julia Quinn
Publication Date: July 2nd 2002 by Avon
Plot: From New York Times bestselling author Julia Quinn comes the fourth novel in the beloved Regency-set world of her charming, powerful Bridgerton family, now a series created by Shonda Rhimes for Netflix.

Everyone knows that Colin Bridgerton is the most charming man in London . . .

Penelope Featherington has secretly adored her best friend's brother for . . . well, it feels like forever. After half a lifetime of watching Colin Bridgerton from afar, she thinks she knows everything about him, until she stumbles across his deepest secret . . . and fears she doesn't know him at all.

Colin Bridgerton is tired of being thought of as nothing but an empty-headed charmer, tired of the notorious gossip columnist Lady Whistledown, who can't seem to publish an edition without mentioning him. But when Colin returns to London from a trip abroad, he discovers nothing in his life is quite the same—especially Penelope Featherington! The girl who was always simply there is suddenly the girl haunting his dreams. When he discovers that Penelope has secrets of her own, this elusive bachelor must decide . . . is she his biggest threat— or his promise of a happy ending?

This novel includes the 2nd epilogue, a peek at the story after the story.

 My Review

Colin and Penelope!!♥♡

I just finished the Netlix series,  Brigerton, which focuses on Colin's younger sister, Daphne, and got so obsessed with Colin and Penelope that I jumped the gun and skipped all previous three installments just to read their story right away!

If you're like me and have watched the Netflix show then have no fear. You will have no issues following along with what Bridgerton had left you. Like the series, Colin leaves London to go traveling. When he comes back, it is now about a decade later (since Penelope is now 28 years old and Colin 32) then this is where our story begins.

So, Colin and Penelope.

Penelope Featherington had fallen in love with Colin just short of her 16th birthday and has held a torch for him ever since. The problem is, he only sees her as his little sister's best friend--- not to mention, Colin had even declared outright (okay, only to his brothers, that is) that he would never see Penelope as his potential bride.

Will time and distance turn over a new leaf for this unlikely duo? After all, it is Penelope, the short, chubby girl that was always there but never seen. At least, not to Colin, now London's most eligible and sought after bachelor.

After returning from Greece, Colin picks up his previous friendly rapport with Penelope EXCEPT things feel much different than they did before. Now seeing Penelope in a new light, will Colin come to term with his budding feelings for her? And will Penelope ever get the happily ever after she's wanted with the man of her dreams?

#Over all, a super cute, and witty romance with the right amount of steam to have you salivating over the third Bridgerton brother and his lady love!

 About the Author

Unknown

#1 New York Times bestselling author Julia Quinn loves to dispel the myth that smart women don't read (or write) romance, and and if you watch reruns of the game show The Weakest Link you might just catch her winning the $79,000 jackpot. She displayed a decided lack of knowledge about baseball, country music, and plush toys, but she is proud to say that she aced all things British and literary, answered all of her history and geography questions correctly, and knew that there was a Da Vinci long before there was a code.

A graduate of Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges, Ms. Quinn is one of only sixteen members of Romance Writers of America’s Hall of Fame. Her books have been translated into 32 languages, and she lives with her family in the Pacific Northwest.

The Bridgertons, her popular series of historical romance, is currently in production by Shondaland as a Netflix original series starring Julie Andrews, Phoebe Dynevor, and Rége-Jean Page.
