Title: Carnal Secrets (The Phoenix Pack #3)
Author: Suzanne Wright
Publication Date: February 6th 2014
Goodreads URL: HERE
Plot: A pack Alpha and his estranged, true mate wrestle with painful secrets, ruthless enemies, and their own irresistible attraction, in the sexy third book of the Phoenix Pack series.
Half-shifter Shaya Critchley may hold a submissive role in her pack, but she’s done taking orders. After her Alpha wolf mate refused to claim her—but committed to interfering in her life—she took off. Now she hides from him, posing as a human in a town full of anti-shifter extremist groups. She thinks he’ll never find her again, and that suits her just fine. But she’s wrong.
Nick Axton can barely control his feelings for Shaya, but he could never claim her—not if he truly cares for her. The degenerative brain condition he keeps secret would ultimately leave her with a burden rather than a mate. But when Shaya runs away, Nick can’t bear the thought of never seeing her again. After tracking her down, he discovers Shaya’s feisty and passionate side in the process…a side he’d never seen before.
Under the menacing gazes of territorial local packs and violent human extremists, Nick vows to finally claim the spirited Shaya…and despite her initial resistance, Shaya just might find his fiery determination to be the ultimate aphrodisiac.

MY REVIEW:
Carnal Secrets has now got to be my favorite in the Phoenix Pack Series!! It packed action, romance, steam, suspense, and even some wit!!
I had been waiting and waiting for this installment to find out what would happen between Nick and Shaya and I FINALLY got my hands on it!! *squeals!*
I’ll be honest, I hated Nick in the first two books but we do learn in here that he does love Shaya and has his reasons for not claiming her when he did.
But with Shaya deserting the pack and hiding from Nick in an anti-shifter town trying to pass off as a human, how will he redeem himself and make claim to his girl once and for all? And with danger in the midst will Shaya let go of her hurt and anger to let her and Nick have their happily ever after all? Or will they die trying?
SO, my verict?: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Albeit, I did feel a few tidbits were lacking or things were stunted a little, I was still very impressed with everything from the writing, to the characters, and the immense chemistry and sexiness displayed between Nick and Shaya!!
I’m definitely looking forward to more reads from Suzanne Wright and hope that she will even dive into more juicy stories from other characters from the Phoenix Pack!!
