Compared to book one, I liked this one a whole lot more but it still didn't 'wow' me. I can't put into words what the first story was missing but it wasn't the greatest for me. Book 2, to me, was more entertaining to me in a sense that I found it enjoyable but I for some off reason could not relate nor connect with the two main leads.
I think what kept me drawn in was Boone. Anyone that's ever read my reviews knows that I love my strong, dirty talking, alpha males and Boone fits that bill to a tee. He was going to get his Ripley and was not afraid to move heaven and earth while doing it.
Ripley. She's the character I go 'meh.' I mean, I didn't love her but I didn't dislike her. She was kind of in the middle for me.
Over all though still, I would recommend this read to anyone, especially those who are fans of Meghan March.
