Plot: There are many rules a priest can't break.
A priest cannot marry. A priest cannot abandon his flock. A priest cannot forsake his God.
I've always been good at following rules.
Until she came.
My name is Tyler Anselm Bell. I'm twenty-nine years old. Six months ago, I broke my vow of celibacy on the altar of my own church, and God help me, I would do it again.
I am a priest and this is my confession.

A hot celibate priest breaking his vows? Yes, please!
Although, maybe it's just me but, I skimmed majority of this read. I just did not connect with the plot and especially the main characters as much as I would have thought.
A lot of the book content seemed to focus on sex, which I'm not complaining over, but I wished there was something more to hold my interest, ya know?
Basically, after tragedy strikes and Tyler becomes a priest at his family's Catholic church, one day during confessional he meets Poppy.
They have an instant connection, or should I say attraction, and from there everything is pretty fast-paced.
There was sex, sex, and lots of sex!!
But when Poppy's ex, Tyler's family secret, as well as his decision to stay in the priesthood or leave it all completely--come into play, will he repent for his sins? Or find love and happiness in the sacrament of love?
So, would I recommend this read?
Maybe. If you love smutt galore and constant "c*nt," "wh#re," and "lamb" references.
All in all, a big toss up for me. I didn't hate this read, but I didn't love it either. I could feel Tyler's dilemma about his vows, his guilt for what happened in the past, and the angst he felt over falling in love with Poppy; not to mention, the anguish of ever letting her go.
It's just, something was missing in it for me.
